OUTPATIENT SERVICES
If you are experiencing family, job, marital, or other problems because of your alcohol and/or drug use or a loved one's use, outpatient counseling can help.
With the help of our counselors, you can learn new ways of coping with life, abstaining from alcohol, and/or other drug use, improving relationships and making other needed changes.

HOW TO ENTER SERVICES
Come into our office Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. and on Fridays from 1:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.

For questions, please call Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
CONFIDENTIALITY
The confidentiality of alcohol and drug abuse client records maintained by this agency is protected by Federal Law and Regulations. Generally, program staff may not say to any person outside the program that a client attends the program, or disclose any information that identifies a client as an alcohol or other drug abuser unless:
1. The client consents in writing;
2. The disclosure is allowed by a court order, accompanied by a subpoena, specifically authorizing disclosure and its use;
3. The disclosure is made to personnel for research, audit or program evaluation purposes or in a case of a medical emergency;
4. The client commits or threatens to commit a crime either at the program or against any person who works for the program.
OUR MISSION
The Spartanburg Alcohol and Drug Abuse Commission's (SADAC) mission is to reduce human suffering from alcohol, tobacco and other drug use, abuse and addiction by providing and promoting quality prevention, education, intervention and treatment services in Spartanburg County.
OUR TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY
SADAC believes that alcohol, tobacco and other drug problems are treatable.
ACCREDITATION
Accredited by CARF, SADAC is licensed by the Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) as an outpatient facility for chemically dependent or addicted persons.
