OUR MISSION

Our mission is to confront and challenge the thinking and behavior patterns of individuals involved in the criminal addictive life cycle, and present new coping strategies to assist in breaking the cycle.



WHO IS APPROPRIATE FOR THE OFFENDER-BASED SERVICES PROGRAM?

Men and women 18 years of age or older

Men and women currently serving probation or parole sentences

Men and women who have recently been released from prison

Men and women who have recently graduated from an Addictions Treatment Unit

Men and women who exhibit criminal and addictive thinking and/or behavior patterns.



CRIMINAL/ADDICTIVE THINKING PATTERNS

On-going group held weekly to confront errors in thinking commonly exhibited by offenders, which often lead to repeated offenses. Program is designed to challenge offender's perspective on the world and their circumstances, and motivate offenders to change, while providing tools necessary for change.

Screening and orientation groups are held on Wednesdays at 9:00 a.m. Appointments can be made by telephone or by walk-in.



OFFENDER BASED EDUCATION PROGRAM

A four week life skills program designed for the offender who has been ordered to complete treatment, but has already demonstrated an ability to make positive lifestyle changes.

Screening and orientation groups for the OBI Program are held each Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. at the Spartanburg Alcohol and Drug Abuse Commission (SADAC). Appointments can be made by telephone or by walk-in.
